Email Digests - Creating & Managing

Email digests in Verint can be configured to be daily or weekly for groups and their associated applications - a digest will include a short recap of what happened in a group - broken out by content type. For example, if a user subscribes to a daily digest for the HR group - every day - at the end of the day - this user will receive an email with short blurbs about each application within the group (where there were new pieces of content, new comments, new activity). These digests will recap all of the recent content and updates within the group(s) and their associated applications.

There are no other subscription options available for a group - so a user can opt-in to receive email notifications for all activity in the group or nothing. 

There are two ways that email digests can be enabled: 

1. From the "Email Digests Panel": 

1. From anywhere within the site click on your avatar and then click settings 
   1. 
2. Click on the email digests tab
   1. 
3. From the drop downs on the right, select the cadence you would like for that group. Only group that you are a MEMBER of will appear in this list 
   1. 
4. When you are done setting all digests, scroll down to the bottom and click save
   1. 

2. From a Specific Group: 

1. Navigate to a specific group 
2. On the right-hand side of the page click email digest options 
   1. 
3. Then select the cadence for your email digest for that group 
   1. 
4. Click save
   1. 
5. Follow the steps above to go back and manage any existing email digests
