Introduction

Within a Verint community, users can subscribe to different types of content community-wide. Subscribing to applications and content allows you to receive notifications for updates, changes, or any activity related to those items. Within this documentation, we will discuss how to set up a subscription, how to view & manage your subscriptions, and how to manage notifications based on your subscriptions.

Setting Up a Subscription   

Applications

To subscribe to a specific application: 

1. Navigate to a specific group and application within that group
2. From the application landing page, on the page, ensure that notifications are turned on.
3. To turn them on please click on the button (in the example pictured below, you would click on turn forum notifications on.)

Viewing & Managing Subscriptions

Within Verint, you are able to view and manage your subscriptions. To view and manage those subscriptions, from anywhere on the Edgeville site please:

1. Click on your avatar in the top right
2. From the drop-down select settings
   1. 
3. Select the fourth tab all the way to the right labeled subscriptions

4. Here you will see all of your current subscriptions listed out in alphabetical order 
5. You can page through your subscriptions by using the paging feature at the bottom
6. You can also unsubscribe from a subscription by clicking the unsubscribe text to the right of your listed subscription (as pictured below).

Managing Notifications Based on Subscriptions 

Within Verint, there are notifications associated with content that you are subscribed to. To view and manage those notifications, from anywhere on the Edgeville site please:

1. Click on your avatar in the top right
2. From the drop-down select settings

3. Select the fourth tab all the way to the right labeled notifications

Within the notifications tab, the first section of notifications is solely related to content you are subscribed to (at a higher level).  You can choose to either disable a certain notification or notifications by unchecking the box on the left or you can choose between live alerts and emails for all notifications.

   2. If you have emails enabled for certain notifications you will receive an email each time the action is performed. 
   3. If you select live alert you will receive a notification within the community that will remain under your lightning bolt icon within the community.

   4. If you select both, you will receive both types of notifications.
